Responsibilities

  • Design Web-based product features from start to finish, from sketching through shipping
  • Work closely with engineering partners & Web Developers to create best-in-class user experiences
  • Collaborate with the broader team to drive alignment and consistency across the platform
  • Designer will work primarily on Web-based applications to create stunning and functional front-end designs

Requirements

  • Experience working in product design / UX roles
  • Strong design point of view and aesthetic
  • Expertise in common design tools and web UX best practices
  • E.g.: Figma, Adobe Products (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Understanding of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Fundamental understanding of MVC-type web frameworks desired, but not required (e.g. React, Vue)
  • Fundamental understanding of standard package management tools desired, but not required (e.g. npm, webpack, yarn)
  • Track record for delivering end-to-end solutions
  • Ability to use data to help reach informed decisions
  • Portfolio to submit with application with examples of design (example webpages/websites required)
  • In short, what you design needs to look good

You will find it easier to do your job if you have the following qualities

  • Knowledge regarding Terra, blockchains, smart contracts, and DeFi applications
  • Ability to create and design solutions for rapid testing in low fidelity based on primary and/or secondary research insights.
  • Believer in the “Less is more” design methodology
  • Work experience in agile product development
  • Familiarity with Defi concepts, smart contract, web standards, APIs, and other web 2.0 technologies
  • Experience working with remote teams
