About the position:

Leading all strategic communications and PR strategies, you’ll be a detail-orientated crypto-native communications lead with exceptional research skills who can share our story in a way that accurately reflects our values.

For context, Flashbots doesn’t have a company Twitter, marketing team, or guidelines on what our members can post but that hasn’t stopped the hype for Suave, open-sourcing our builder/relay or filling rooms at DevCon.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support all communications such as writings, reports & forums
• Develop and implement a strategic communications plan from the ground up
• Be a Flashbots translator, converting event/meeting information into public-facing content
• Proactively collaborate with the Flashbots collective with the goal of a decentralized comms strategy
• Keep your finger on the pulse of the industry and community to identify and mitigate emerging issues faced by the organization and make recommendations for messaging
• Proactively cultivate relationships and collaboration with relevant journalists, media, external partners and subject matter experts
• Serve as Flashbots representation on external facing publications
• Attend relevant global events

Qualifications

• +6 years experience in journalism, communications, research or a related fields
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with fluency in crypto or tech subjects
• Flexible, accountable, and focused on high-impact solutions
• Extensive writing and editing experience with a focus on crypto
• T-Shaped capabilities
• Self-sufficient
