  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
  • LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $40 – $70/hr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 30 hrs/week - Short term

THE OPPORTUNITY

Experience you’ll need (must-have):

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Experience working with Javascript/Typescript
  • Strong communication, good level of spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience building with Vue.js or React
  • Ionic Framework
  • Serverless Architecture

You’ll be outstanding if you have the following:

Our client is building intelligent song storage for musicians and the music industry — modernizing the song lifecycle with an exciting combination of storage, organization, and collaboration features. They centralizes projects and files for musicians and their teams and utilizes smart features to put manual file management in the rearview.

About the role:

Our client is looking for a full-stack software engineer passionate about the art of software. You will work to build performant, user-focused feature implementations — think Notion and Figma for musicians.

What you’ll do:

  • Own large portions of the product and work with their co-founder/CTO on the development of new features
  • Work across the stack to turn Figma prototypes into finished product implementations
  • Maintain a high bar for product security, reliability, privacy, performance, and code quality
