HR Operations Specialist (North America)

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and conduct all workforce administration processes (i.e. onboarding/off-boarding, probation management, employment verification, contract & document management)
• Handle employee inquiries as tier 1 support and maintain inquiry FAQ to establish the knowledge database
• Handle leave administration, and compensation data collection for payroll processing
• Enroll, manage and terminate staff benefits
• Work closely with Global HR teams to implement global strategies and tailor them to local market needs
• Partner with and support tasks from the local regional director and stakeholders
• Be the on-the-ground expert for local knowledge and current affairs
• Support on international assignments or relocation, work with the Global Mobility team on visa/immigration service, provide guidance and support on employees’ lodging, kids’ education, culture adoption, etc. and facilitate the repatriation process
• Maintenance of employee and organization data in HR Information System, and generate HR function data dashboard and report
• Manage the quality control process in order to ensure that the HR operation services meet employee expectations as well as comply with local labor law and legislation
• Ensure the improvement and optimization of the administration processes, including systems and tooling

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HR operation or Shared Service, working at MNCs or fast-growing hi-tech companies is a plus
• Willing to accept change and customer-oriented
• Can work under high pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Strong decisiveness with the ability to work well independently
• Ability to handle a fast-moving environment with many changes and uncertainty
• Strong problem-solving mindset and can provide flexible solutions
• Bachelor’s degree holder with major in relevant disciplines
