A leading crypto company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, including contract review and negotiations, compliance, and civil proceedings. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies, as well as the ability to advise on complex legal issues facing the company.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a wide range of corporate legal matters, including contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements
  • Provide legal support for civil litigation and dispute resolution matters
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest legal and regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency industry and provide practical guidance to the business
  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and HR, to ensure legal compliance across the organization
  • Ensure the company's legal and ethical obligations are met and maintain a high standard of professionalism

Requirements

  • J.D. from a top-tier law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • At least 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney, with a focus on contracts and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
  • Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • A team player with a proactive and results-driven approach to work
