Business Development Associate

We’re looking for a Business Development Associate to join Republic’s rapidly growing Investment Team. This person will support our team with lead generation, sales operations, & sales/education calls. This position offers a unique chance to get exposure to the NYC tech ecosystem while learning business skills invaluable to any high-growth company.
Prior experience in business development or investment at a startup, fund or in the tech ecosystem is highly preferred, but we’re primarily looking for scrappy, motivated fast learners. You should have a desire to help drive the BD engine that allows everyone to invest in the most promising startups with as little as $50.

What You’ll Do

• Source & qualify startup leads for outreach by Republic’s equity-focused Sales Team
• Develop & manage dashboard to track sales efforts
• Draft & A/B test copy for cold outreach
• Draft collateral for sharing with Republic’s partners
• Join and lead sales and education calls

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in the world of startups––especially fintech and blockchain tech
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
• Organized, hardworking, and fast learning
• Self-starter who is able to roll up sleeves to get the job done
• Mostly in-office, some remote work (<25%) considered
