As a (Senior) People Operations Manager you will drive our vision to create a smooth and hassle-free employee journey globally, and contribute to our vision Finoa to be the go-to workplace for people in the crypto and fintech industries. Your role will further enhance your generalist profile by being a mixture of hands-on operations and at the same time thinking big and ensuring we can scale our processes and various frameworks. You will take ownership from day one on anything People operations and payroll related (Germany), actively support our global People strategy and shape the foundations for our long-term setup.

  • Support, drive and operationalise our employee experience strategy by owning the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, and beyond.

  • Drive payroll efforts in the company by collaborating with various external and internal stakeholders and (german) authority bodies.

  • Answer (proactively) any employee question, and act as a sparring partner to leadership to collaborate, influence and guide managers as well as senior stakeholders.

  • Own the maintenance of our People infrastructure, and ensure all employee data is up to date.

  • Bring data-driven decisions and techniques at the front of your work by analysing employee insights and key people KPIs

  • Support employee development efforts such as performance management, development discussions, engagement surveys and more

  • Ensure an amazing employee experience by organising various internal events and gathering initiatives that boost our team culture, e.g. parties, summits, etc.

  • Collaborate with other People Team members and across teams on various employee-related topics such as workplace, international payroll, etc.

  • You have extensive People generalist experience (operations, admin, development, etc), preferable with a background in an international and/or start-up environment.

  • Ideally you have previous payroll experience (or you are curious to learn!), are familiar with DATEV and have previously worked with various HRIS (e.g. Personio, Leapsome)

  • You want to challenge the way how “HR” works- from being an administrative function to bringing customer and business value.

  • You have a good understanding of German Employment Law..or know how to find the answer to your questions
  • You embody an entrepreneurial spirit: focus on the right things, proactive problem-solver, bias for action and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

  • You are data-savvy, know how to read and use data to leverage your success.

  • Fluent German and English language skills are must.

  • You are passionate and/or curious to learn more about the crypto ecosystem.
