Staff Product Manager, Developer Experience

The Mysten Labs product team is looking for a Staff Product Manager to drive product and feature delivery to make Sui a first-class developer platform. This role will be focused on what developers need and bringing those experiences to life.

This role will be an integral part of the growth and success of the developer community by helping build the business-critical platform and tooling for the Sui network. As these are the principal ways that the ecosystem interacts with Sui, your impact is highly-visible, supporting all developers, partners, and projects/dApps building on Sui. You will create new SDKs, APIs, adapters, frameworks, tools, libraries, and core programming language features that enable developers to efficiently and intuitively interact with Sui and the Sui Move language, which will drive standards across the ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

• You will work closely with our Developer Experience team and Move programming language teams to help define, build and standardize API functionalities.
• You will work closely with the Developer Relations, Documentation, and Partnership teams prioritizing partner/community requirements to address developer pain points and increase their velocity.
• You will identify patterns in developer needs, architect and build features and tools to improve developer efficiency.
• You will continually investigate and improve inefficiencies and bottlenecks with our existing services and APIs.
• You will engage with a community of open source developers on projects that encompass many different frameworks and languages, and help onboard them into the ecosystem.
• Collaborate with vertical (gaming, finance, commerce, growth) PMs and platform PMs.

Who You Are:

• 10+ years of technical product management or equivalent technical program management experience.
• Both passion for and experience shipping tools for developers. For example, you’ve shipped CLIs, client libraries, APIs, and/or an IDE extension.
• Experience with distributed infrastructure or distributed platform technologies.
• Able to break down complexity into executable steps, and possess the analytical propensity to navigate high-stakes tradeoffs.
• Experience working cross-functionally across engineering, UI/UX, tech writer, developer relations, partnership.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with L1 blockchain technologies
• 0-1 experience building Programming languages or complex APIs
• Experience working in a planet-scale setting and comfortable driving decisions for products used by billions of people

Compensation Range: $220K - $280K
