  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
  • LOCATION: Remote - South America Only (TimeZone: EST | Partial overlap)
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $40 – $45/hr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term

THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Degree in computer science, application development, management information systems or equivalent

· A total of 4+ years of web development experience with a minimum of 2 years in React.js

· Understanding of the fundamental React principles, including components, hooks, and the React lifecycle

· Proficiency in writing TypeScript

· Experience implementing JWT tokens for user authentication

· Experience implementing REST API calls

· Proficiency in the latest versions of ECMAScript, HTML5, CSS

· Understanding of NPM build and maintenance processes

· Proficiency using Git for source control, including branching strategies and pull requests

Desired Experience:

· Experience building complex graphical user interfaces (charts, graphs, etc.)

· Familiarity with containerized architectures/strategies (such as Docker)

· Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Patterns

Professional communications skills both written and verbal

Our client is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, software company, seeking a FrontEnd Developer to support upcoming needs with their customers.

The company's vision is reduce the time taken to modernize application development. Working with many key PaaS and SaaS vendors they provide clients with an innovative solution to their digital modernization challenges.

The Work

The FrontEnd Developer will work on a wide variety of different programs to support diverse customer mission areas. They work with clients from the commercial and Federal space to understand and modernize their legacy applications by migrating them to modern/new platforms.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and follow rhino.ai coding standards.

· Work with Designers, API Developers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand product requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.

· Stay up to date on assigned specialties, work on expanding to others.

· This role will interact with coworkers at all levels.

· Demonstrate a desire to learn and accept new challenges within / outside core skills

· Bring new ideas, tools, solutions, and techniques to the group.

· Use analytical thinking to make decisions based on facts and metrics whenever possible.
