  • SALARY RANGE: $200,000 – $250,000/yr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40hr/week - Long term

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, D3.js).
  • Solid understanding of experimental design and hypothesis testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with big data frameworks and distributed computing (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and formulate data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in complex datasets.
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and algorithms to solve business challenges.
  • Apply machine learning techniques, such as classification, regression, clustering, and deep learning, to extract insights and make predictions.
  • Cleanse, preprocess, and transform data to ensure accuracy and quality for analysis.
  • Perform feature engineering to derive meaningful variables from raw data.
  • Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate model performance.
  • Visualize data and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and proactively apply new techniques and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipeline and infrastructure.
