Associate Product Manager

As an Associate Product Manager you will have the opportunity to shape the vision and drive the execution of the Celo protocol. You will be responsible for owning a part of the Celo product and for planning, executing, and delivering of the entire Celo protocol. You will have the opportunity to shape and grow within the role.

You will:

• Own the full product cycle for a part of the Celo protocol: from ideation through to launch and ongoing performance analysis
• Align and motivate the cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class user experience
• Help prioritize work for the Celo protocol
• Manage and track the protocol engineering development progress, project plans, and timelines to deliver high quality products
• Coordinate and manage technical community tasks and contributions
• Identify product and project issues and potential solutions or escalate to avoid project delays
• Identify gaps in existing workflows and recommend new procedures as needed
• Help create and deliver technical content for the community such as documentation, presentations, and workshops

You have:

• Up to three years of work experience
• A technical background, CS degree or relevant experience, and are comfortable reading source code
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity and passion for open source and distributed computing
• Demonstrated the ability to work both independently and as a team
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on managing details
• Demonstrated proactiveness and problem solving skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Experience with GitHub
• Bonus: experience with agile program management on technical projects
• Bonus: experience with open source projects
• Bonus: experience with distributed organizations
• Bonus: experience with Go and/or Solidity programming languages
