The Role


In the set up of the new entertainment business, we are looking for a talented individual; reporting to the Entertainment Chief Operating Officer. This individual should be operating at manager level but who is as comfortable in strategy as working into the detail. This person will require to throw themselves into the challenge with confidence, tenacity and have a get it done attitude for operational related activities.

Responsibilities

Manage and co-ordinate people requests for administrative and payroll purposes to resolve any issues directly (or with support from Gala Blockchain central support) - this will become more self-serving over time (and will also be a key component of the role to build this forward with input from SME’s in entertainment business

    • Own the Gala Entertainment remote playbook and maintain its content and information keeping it relevant and timely

    • Own and monitor the Gala Entertainment People policies

    • Onboard new joiners into the organisation (supporting welcome, technology requirements, set up and week one to four of new joiner requirements)

    • Off-board any leavers with timely processes

    • Support in reward and performance management process and delivery

    • Own new contracts for People to be issued (working with Legal through templated approach and logging via relevant systems)
