Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at LUKSO, you’ll have a major influence over the infrastructure that powers our new blockchain and smart-contract-based wallets. You will be imperative to our engineering success, making DevOps an operational success, with efficient best practices and utilisation of the best possible technology needed. You’d be within our DevOps team, next to amazing talent and surrounded by some of the most talented teams in Web3.

LUKSO was Co-Founded by Fabian Vogelsteller, author of ERC-20, ERC-725, Web3.js, Mist Browser and former Lead Dapp developer of Ethereum and Marjorie Hernandez, an early blockchain strategist working with Ethereum, IOTA Foundation and world-renowned brands, who also Co-Founded THE DEMATERIALISED.

In one year you’ll know you were successful if you’ve…

• Driven production deployment changes and releases.
• Assisted with monitoring and logging tools.
• Work with the team to dissect current technologies utilised, where you'd have the influence to make the changes or amendments needed to ensure DevOps is efficient and a highly-performing team.
• Worked with other engineers/teams, in an effort to create practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrate them to other squads, etc.
• Provided clear goals for all areas of a project and developed steps to oversee their timely execution.
• Collaborated with development teams to ensure the seamless integration of software applications and infrastructure into production environments
• Evaluated new technologies and tools to improve DevOps processes and practices
• Participated in architecture and design reviews to provide recommended improvements for the reliability and performance of applications

A background like this helps:

• Professional experience as a DevOps engineer for 5+ years.
• Strong cloud experience, preferably GCP.
• Created and maintained CI/CD pipelines.
• High proficiency with containerized environments (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge with the likes of: Go, Rust, Python, Javascript, Solidity
• Understanding the concept of Infrastructure-as-Code and experience with tools like Terraform/Ansible.
• An understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and PKI would be a big plus!
