Ultra is launching an innovative PC gaming platform, and ultimately a full entertainment ecosystem.
Our goal is to unify the fragmented gaming industry around one platform. Ultra aggregates all gamers’ activities in one place: from buying, playing and reselling games, to accessing live-streaming platforms, tournaments, reviews and contests, as well as interacting with communities and brands. Our team is currently composed of 90+ full-time members, working across 5 continents.

The Role

Ultra is looking for an experienced French and English - speaking Community Manager to join our marketing team.
In this exciting project, you will be involved in cultivating and expanding the French and English-speaking communities on different social media platforms, with a focus on Telegram, and Discord.
Your role will be to proactively imagine, design and execute community initiatives. As a member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for managing the community and building strong relationships with highly-engaged community members, as well as assisting on social media to increase our current engagements.

Your Profile

You are able to prioritise while being an exceptional communicator in both French and English languages. You thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace challenges head-on. You truly enjoy nurturing connections within the community. You actively seek innovative ideas to improve engagement and boost brand awareness.

Key Requirements

  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience growing communities on social platforms (Telegram, Discord etc)
  • Provable track record of running/managing a Discord server
  • Ability to understand and report community metrics to stakeholders

It's nice (but not necessary) if you also have:

  • Experience working in a remote startup environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of blockchain technology, web3 projects, and gaming
  • Passion for gaming and the gaming community, with an understanding of player motivations and preferences
  • Experience with Crew3/Zealy platform
  • Demonstrable experience in creative approach/initiatives

  • Moderate and manage Telegram + Discord channels
  • Execute strategies to expand and grow Ultra’s Community
  • Plan and execute community events that yield results
  • Weekly updates regarding Community status and future initiatives
  • Report metrics on a regular basis and assess them against planned initiatives
