DeFi Engineer

Redefining decentralized exchanges, Mangrove is the cornerstone of decentralized finance. Our world-class team of computer scientists, quants, and product experts has been discreetly working since 2020 on our vision of the first programmable exchange, enabling a whole new range of financial applications!

Now that we've successfully completed our second round of funding and launched on testnet, we are approaching our mainnet launch. It's time to forge solid partnerships with DeFi projects and financial institutions to generate trading volume on Mangrove DEX.

This position is remote with occasional in-person meetups. We also have Parisian and Danish offices available for use.

Job Description: DeFi Senior Front-end Developer

As our DeFi Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to make a substantial impact on a project poised to reshape the decentralized finance landscape. Leveraging your Solidity experience, understanding of DeFi protocols and knowledge of DEX implementations, you'll drive the technical evolution of our platform.

You'll play a crucial role in our Engineering team.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our Engineering, Research, Product, and Marketing teams.
• Develop and enhance our dApps with a focus on Solidity, Foundry, and Web3js / ethers.
• DeFi Engineer 2 Suggest and implement improvements to our DeFi protocol and DEX implementations.
• Conduct static analysis and invariant testing to ensure software quality.

Who is Mangrove's DeFi Engineer?

• English speaker
• Based in Europe
• Solid programming skills in Solidity with 0.5-2 years of proven experience
• Experience with Foundry, or hardhat Knowledge of Typescript is a plus
• Strong skills with Web3js / ethers Experience with Yul and other static analysis tools is a plus
• Good understanding of DeFi and implementation of DEXes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, self-starting, honest, and flexible.

• Ability to assess new dApp feature opportunities.
• Knowledge or interest in the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
