About the role
The Lead UX Designer will report directly to VP of Product Management and work closely with the VP's of Engineering and Program Management. Your mission will be to implement, iterate and scale the design organizations systems and operations.

- Focus on advancing business outcomes over output
- Have strong direction from Mojito Design on Client Projects that clients or design vendors may implement
- Encourage ownership at all levels
This will enable you to
- Be the Design Leader across Mojito
- Create institutional knowledge and direction via documentation & tickets
- Have a loud voice in collaboration with Product & Engineering
- Oversee alignment with contract Design Teams on Deliverables
In this role you
- Are the Lead Product Designer at Mojito
- Lead Design Componentization of Mojito Product Offerings
- Manage product design and continuous improvement of Mojito's Standardized Product Offerings
- Drive adoption of the Mojito Component Library across new projects in partnership with Vendors
- Be the person who understands everything from a Design and User Perspective
- Proactively support Vendors implementing our technology
- "we already have this component & should reuse that"
- "instead of building this from scratch, use this old thing and change it a bit"
- Lead User Experience Research helping to drive adoption and success of core metrics in partnership with Product. The first products you will help succeed are: Mint 2.0, Standardized Implementations (ex: Primary, Secondary marketplace, Mixers, etc), Client Implementations
- Partner to create Success Criteria for each product
- Own Product Success in partnership with Product, Engineering and Program Mgmt
- Dive in where you are needed at varying stages of a project: you may be prototyping, providing scalable production resources, building or polishing assets and working at the hip with engineering to deliver high quality experiences
- Are fully present to Mojitos work. You're welcome to work on other engagements, and we expect you to deliver consistently at a high quality.

- Improving Design Operations and Outcomes across Product & Projects
- Moving Mojito to standardization
- Working closely with Engineering & Product
- Leading any Design Vendor or Implementation
- Documenting Design Systems
- Creating scalable solutions (ex: components, themeable experiences)
- Lead and create Information Architecture
- Figure out how to scale your time & Mojito Design output intelligently
- Identify repetition and translate into standardization
Things that are likely to help you succeed in this role
- Strong UI and UX design ability
- Versed in Figma and end to end product development (including IA)
- Fluent English Communication is a must, but more languages are loved and welcomed
- Equivalent professional experience is a must, but a BA/MA in Art/Design is nice to have
- 7-10 years of professional experience UX/UI Design

The base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $165,000 USD. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. The base base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location and any other relevant qualifications. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
