UI/UX Designer (m/w/d)

We are seeking a UI/UX designer that shares their passion for user experience and problem-solving. Someone who plays well with others, but isn’t afraid to stand up for what they think is right. Someone who is diplomatic and sees the bigger picture, but you also find satisfaction in making every detail right. We are looking for someone to partner with Product Management and Engineering to deliver a great customer experience. Success comes from understanding the customer and business needs, simplifying complex processes, producing codable design assets, and ultimately delivering a simple and user-friendly experience.

Tasks

Things you will do

• Working hand in hand with the creative team, product management and engineering in all phases of the product development process (from discovery to delivery).
• Continuously developing prototypes and testing new designs and product ideas.
• Setting design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
• Identifying new product and website improvement opportunities.
• Conducting usability testing.
• Analyzing how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.
• Optimizing product and website performance as needed, including adding new visuals, features, content and constantly improving the user experience.
• Modifying and revising existing designs to meet changing user preferences.
• Presenting design ideas to product management and engineering.

Requirements

What you bring to the table

• 3+ years of experience as a UX & UI designer, with knowledge of user research, user experience, user testing, wireframing, prototyping and creating intuitive interfaces.
• Proven hands-on experience with website design and web applications.
• Professional working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD (or similar and able to work with Figma).
• A well-rounded portfolio, demonstrating a strong understanding of UX, website layouts, graphics and user research.
• Ability to be autonomous and can take ownership in your work.
• Critical thinker and intuitive eye for user needs beyond the obvious, and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and choices.
• Experience working with developers and providing assets (e.g. HTML5 & CSS3), and conducting user-testing and feedback.
• Ideally experience in tech, banking, or Blockchain.
• Blockchain technical understanding is a plus.
