Pool Maintenance Labs - Lido DAO project support (decentralized autonomous organization)

Pool Maintenance Labs is a remote-first not-for-profit technical services company whose objects are education, advocacy, research and experimentation of liquid staking technologies. PML supplies technical services in the blockchain ecosystem and is looking to source a consultant with operations management experience to support a client project at the Lido DAO. Lido software is a leading liquid staking solution, providing a simple and secure way to get network rewards for participating in securing the data integrity of the network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools, scripts and playbooks to speed up processes
  • Create cloud-agnostic infrastructure as code
  • Maintain security and compliance standards
  • Scheduled on-Call shared with teammates

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Linux internal
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with monitoring tools Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager/Loki
  • Experience with Github Actions (or other CI/CD tools)
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Experience in Kubernetes (especially migration of existing infra to K8s)
  • Experience in configuration management via Ansible
  • Education or basic experience with cryptography and information security
  • English level: B2+

Good to have

  • Knowledge of GCP clouds and their services
  • Background in crypto projects and blockchains technologies
  • Commits and pull-requests to large open-source projects
  • Experience in supporting high-load and up-time-critical services
  • Experience of Istio/Linkerd in K8s (ie. service mesh)
