Marketing Specialist

The Axelar Marketing Manager is a role for someone who loves to combine creative thinking with operational capability. You are an expert communicator who understands how messages move people and has unique ideas, and you are ready to see a good concept through to completion in campaigns. Axelar’s communications combine the exhilaration and fun of experimentation with education and precision. Marketing and communications team members combine an understanding of the audience with the curiosity and intelligence needed to master and convey new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social and content marketing, that convert compelling content into business impact.
• Run marketing operations from end to end using CRM, dashboards & project management tools: managing projects, tracking results, extracting learnings and applying learnings to future efforts.
• Conceptualize, create and publish content that is surprising, provocative, delightful and useful to early adopters and enthusiasts in emerging internet technology categories.
• Direct ad-hoc teams of creative contributors, including writers, illustrators and video producers.
• Ensure that content is clear, crisp, accurate and on-brand, especially when describing complex technology products at a high level.

Requirements

• Track record of successful content marketing campaigns, including email, social and web components.
• First-hand experience communicating in online communities related to internet culture, especially cryptocurrency & blockchain, building a following and maintaining their attention and enthusiasm.
• Project management skills: organization and consistency required to keep campaigns and general marketing activities on track.
• Hands-on experience with marketing operations tools and activities, including CRM, dashboards and project management.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Experience directing creative teams and working with contractors on projects in any media, including video, illustration and text.
• Curiosity, enthusiasm and courage to take your own initiative learning complex topics well enough to explain them to others.
