Community Manager

As a Community Manager at Shakepay, you will lead initiatives to engage and grow our community across multiple social platforms. You will interact with our customers (or as we call them ‘shakers), influencers, and partners to strengthen the brand and facilitate community involvement in various projects and campaigns. You are a good fit if you are a junior candidate with a strong appetite for learning, a proactive approach to tasks, a fearless attitude towards tackling new challenges, and a passion for bitcoin, fintech, and community building.

You will

• Create hype that drives discussions around our products, new features, and bitcoin news
• Manage, plan, and execute content (memes and contests) that drive high engagement while respecting our regulatory framework
• Foster relationships with key influencers, strategic partners, and relevant organizations
• Organize and participate in events to build our community, both virtual and IRL
• Moderate and engage in our Discord, Reddit and Twitter to ensure a positive environment for our community
• Collaborate with the product team and other other teams to execute growth campaigns and attract a broader audience to Shakepay

Must have

• Entrepreneurial background with a portfolio of launched initiatives
• Willingness to get things done
• Eager to learn and ability to execute on the fly
• Experience in social media management and content creation for Discord, Reddit and Twitter
• Solid understanding of the bitcoin, fintech and/or gaming space
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Nice to have

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English
• Experience in bitcoin or gaming projects
• Strong network within the crypto and influencer communities
• Strong interest in fintech twitter
• Previous experience being a community manager or moderator
