Securitize is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our alternative fund products by working with Accredited Investors, Qualified Purchasers, RIAs and other institutional clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong network within the investor ecosystem and experience in alternative sales, including venture capital, private equity, credit funds, etc.
Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of the alternative investment industry and can independently run sales processes from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a product expert for Securitize's alternative fund products, with an in-depth understanding of investment strategies, performance, and risk characteristics.
- Manage and build relationships with potential clients across multiple segments, working to understand their investment goals and identifying opportunities to grow Securitize's AUM.
- Independently run sales processes, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering presentations, and closing sales.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase brand awareness and promote Securitize's alternative fund products to new and existing clients.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for multiple client segments, providing product information, responding to inquiries, and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies, marketing materials, and client communications.
Additional Details:
- At minimum, +8 years of experience in alternatives sales, with a strong track record of success (must have)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Established network/contact list within the RIA space and other institutional clients
- Required: FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66
- Established network/contact list within the Qualified Purchaser space
- Ideally experience working at private banks, placement agents, private funds (investor relations), alternatives platforms, or wire houses.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
