Technical Product Manager

We’re looking for a passionate Senior Technical Product Manager, to be based in New York and join the Securitize team. Candidates should be able to drive technology product buildout. Experience in Buyside or Sellside Capital markets is a plus, and if you have experience selling or deploying enterprise software - even better. Responsibilities

Product definition:

• Work with business development to identify business opportunities and their potential, that is, desirable, technically feasible and economically viable.
• Extract key customer insights behind the need for new features as well as new products and services. Map customer journeys and information flows.
• Define value proposition; articulate product vision, high-level technical solution and roadmap.
• Generate technical requirements documents and user stories.
• In cooperation with UX and technical teams, develop high-level prototypes or wireframes, creation of user personas, etc.

Product development and launch:

• Negotiate priorities with the development team ensuring proper allocation of resources and organization expectations.
• Analyze internal capabilities and assets contributing to ‘make/buy’ decision; define and create partners ecosystems as needed.
• Challenge and drive technical decisions from the team, understanding implications of technical alternatives and limitations and trade-offs that will impact roadmap.
• Interact with the development team during development phase bringing the “voice of the customer” to the process.
• Monitor product performance including customer feedback; track technical performance and propose fixes/improvements.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for the success of your deliverables, from design through production deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software product management and development, preferably in Fintech. Experience and understanding of Capital markets, integrating with traditional Investment Bank systems and platforms is recommended. Experience interacting with systems like E-trading platforms such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketsWatch is a plus.
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in a numerate scientific, technical or engineering discipline.
• Professional product management qualification a plus.
• Good understanding of web technologies and basic architectural concepts like microservices and their impact. Blockchain knowledge and experience a plus, particularly around permissioned networks like Quorum or Hyperledger Fabric. Let us know if you can understand a Solidity Smart Contract.
• Experience in the creation and execution of product plans, specification of new features and user stories and high-level technical specifications.
