Bitcoin Mining Engineer

We are looking for a Bitcoin Mining Engineer to join our team in supporting our Bitcoin mining operations. The role will be part of our mining team and will be responsible to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure to run and scale our business. Experience building databases and passion for Bitcoin is required.

The Expertise You Have

• 3 - 5 or more years of experience in a DevOps/Engineering role.
• Expertise using AWS Cloud Devops services such as IAM, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS, is highly desired.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure management systems like Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation.
• Have a working knowledge of databases, SQL and NOSQL (MongoDB/CouchDB/DynamoDB)
• Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stack
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Docker, Concourse, Git
• Some experience with Front-end (React JS) and Back-end (NodeJS, Java, Spring) experience.

The Skills You Bring

• Strong understanding of web services, databases and related infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently.
• Interest in researching topics related to Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining.
• Practical and demonstrable skill with an administrative language such as Python or Bash.
• Strong grasp of Unix-based operating processing systems (Linux).
• Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts.
• Security experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, for when the playbook just doesn't cover it.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
