Communications & Content Lead

We are looking for an exceptional storyteller and communications leader to join the team as Communications Manager. This role will be pivotal in planning, managing, and executing our communications activities for the firm and as a vector of support for our portfolio. The development and delivery of original content, from uncovering insights to crafting compelling narratives and synthesizing across relevant channels, is central, but this is a comprehensive and varied role covering social media, PR, brand building, and messaging.

The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of crypto, is passionate about articulating and amplifying the work being done at the industry's forefront, including its most technical, and is skilled at delivering that across relevant channels and media.

What you offer:

• Proven experience as a writer and storyteller, as a content creator, journalist, or in-house communications or marketing lead.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mind.
• Self-starter mentality with a proven ability to take initiative and operate with little oversight.
• Empathetic and ready to roll up your sleeves and work with entrepreneurs on all things communications.
• Social marketing proficiency, understanding the audiences, and optimal strategies for channels such as X
• Ideally having experience working in the crypto industry and with technical topics.
• Ideally having experience analyzing and interpreting data to uncover narratives.

What you’ll do:

• Lead communications support for our portfolio, coaching and counseling on PR, communications strategy, SEO, brand, and messaging
• Build and manage media relations & PR, pitching news and announcements, editorial, and speaking opportunities
• Manage and grow the editorial calendar & content pipeline, creating net new content, including press announcements, opinion pieces, newsletters, and research reports.
• Manage and implement our newsletter strategy.
• Collaborate across the team and portfolio to develop new topic areas and provide a creative, editorial POV on content.
• Social media management, with a focus on X
• Support other communications initiatives and goals as required.
