Business Development Manager - Tokenization (RWA)As the Business Development Manager for Tokenization at the IOTA Foundation, you will be a key player in expanding the footprint of IOTA's technology in the application of tokenization to real-world assets, especially in B2B settings. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the DLT landscape, strong business acumen, and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for tokenization in various sectors. As this is a very active and evolving domain, the job also includes working with leads and potential clients in a co-development/co-innovation manner to actively refine and shape IOTA’s offerings in this sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of tokenization technology and shape its real-world applications.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the real-world asset tokenization space within the DLT ecosystem.
Analyze regulatory landscapes and industry standards to inform business strategies.

Strategic Partnership Development:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the DLT and tokenization industry.
Collaborate with technology providers, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders to enhance the tokenization ecosystem.

Client Engagement and Solution Customization:
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and showcasing the benefits of IOTA's tokenization solutions.
Collaborate with client and internal technical teams and product management to customize tokenization solutions for specific client requirements.

Business Strategy and Go-to-Market Planning:
Develop and execute business strategies to promote the adoption of IOTA's tokenization solutions in real-world applications.
Define go-to-market plans, ensuring effective communication of value propositions to target audiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of tokenization solutions into client’s overall IT landscape
Cooperate with product management and the IOTA board on refining and defining IOTA’s product and partner strategy based on strategic insight and outside-in client requirements
Work closely with marketing and communication teams to create compelling messaging and materials.

Industry Thought Leadership:
Establish thought leadership by participating in industry events, conferences, and contributing to relevant publications.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven experience in business development or strategic sales with a focus on blockchain, DLT, or related horizontal platform technologies.
In-depth understanding of tokenization concepts, especially with regards to real world assets, and their application within DLT ecosystems.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English are a must
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with IOTA's technology and the broader blockchain/DLT ecosystem.
Background in ecosystem building, participation, or governance
Experience in collaborating with startups and established industry players.
Knowledge of legal and compliance considerations in the DLT and tokenization space.
German, Arabic, or an additional European language
