The Team

Kraken is looking for experienced recruiters across a multitude of geographies, to support many technical hiring across our global business. We value speed, accuracy and a high bar and in turn you would join a team of high performing best in class individuals.

You will partner with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to build winning strategies that deliver outstanding talent, against ruthless competition, in a fully remote, high-paced and asynchronous environment. This is an opportunity to partner with the brightest minds in the Crypto industry, hand in hand helping shape one of the most innovative businesses in the world.

The Opportunity

• Partner with Engineering Hiring Managers and teams to design and execute effective hiring strategies, supporting their decision making with sound data and market insights
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies against prioritized requisitions with an eye on market intelligence and industry developments
• Navigate complex environments, often undertaking tasks never achieved before... comfortable with ambiguity!
• Drive the recruitment process from end to end, removing blockers and driving for just in time hires
• Champion the Kraken culture, ensuring candidates are aligned to our mission and values
• Participate in major improvement projects to upgrade our hiring infrastructure

Skills you should HODL

• Recruitment experience from a reputable, fast-growing technology/product business against ruthless competition
• Passionate geek at heart with a genuine enthusiasm for technology, demonstrating a love for delving into deep technical conversations and engaging with the tech community.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully recruiting top technical talent across diverse technical specializations including backend (Rust, C++), frontend (React, React Native), critical core infrastructure, and SRE.
• Preferred experience in sourcing and hiring for specialized technical roles within the cryptocurrency niche, showcasing a deep understanding of its unique requirements and challenges.
• Sound appreciation for the fundamentals of talent acquisition, but creative and inquisitive when considering modern tactics
• Highly organized, operationally astute and data-oriented
• Influential written and verbal communication
• Compelling business partnership and stakeholder management skills
• Sensitive to the challenges and needs of growing business, especially those of a scaling start-up disrupting an industry
• Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, motivated and passionate
• Highly resilient, relentless and cheerful in the face of challenges
• Passion for cryptocurrency adoption and personal experience with crypto preferred
