About Paxos
Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.
We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers.
About the team
The People team is on a mission to create more than just a workplace; we're building a hub where exceptional talent thrives. We equip our leaders with innovative tools, frameworks, and tailored coaching, enabling them to excel in making great people decisions. These decisions span across every area of the business, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee recognition, feedback, and compensation. Our goal is to create exceptional experiences that make every day at Paxos not just productive, but also deeply rewarding and fulfilling.
About the role
The Senior People/HR Business Partner serves as the intersection between the business and the People Team. Covering everything from talent attraction and new hire onboarding to manager effectiveness, employee engagement, and retention, your role is to ensure the delivery of exceptional people experiences every day. As an advocate for Paxos' core values, you will partner with our business leaders to assist in building their organizations and use data to inform and guide excellent people decisions. You’re responsible for 'raising the bar.'
What you'll do:
- Be one of the first members of the People business partner team, influencing how the role supports and delivers value to the organization.
- Coach managers and leaders on making great people decisions every day.
- Embody Paxos’ value of a 'shared commitment to excellence,' while helping to build a culture of high-performing teams.
- Provide expertise and support in the following areas: career planning; performance management; coaching; data analysis; compensation and rewards; employee relations; learning and development; recognition programs; and strategic development.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve processes, employee engagement, and policy alignment across the business.
- Nurture and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Support a global workforce with employees located in the US, UK, Singapore, and more locations in the year ahead.
About you
- At least 7+ years of experience in human resources/people team roles and at least 4+ years as a people/HR business partner.
- Experience in organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.
- The ability to understand business priorities and translate them into a talent strategy that supports the business as it grows.
- Exceptional communication skills, a personable and approachable demeanor, and the ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels within the organization.
- Flexibility, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or organizational development; possession of PHR, SPHR, or MSHR certification.

Paxos offers a competitive total compensation and benefits package, including equity. Actual salary within that range is dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
