Data Engineer

For example, our digital wallet - which has 30 million downloads - provides people with an easy-to-use, non-custodial method for buying, selling, storing, sending, receiving, and trading cryptocurrencies.

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer who shares our vision. We're in search of a skilled Data Engineer to join our team as one of the pioneering members at our newly established engineering office in Dallas, United States.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, launch, and operation of data pipelines and productionized machine learning applications, including but not limited to adding intelligence to notifications and emails, A/B testing, blockchain indexing, recommendations and targeting.
• Solve real-world problems using machine learning that can improve models by not only experimental metrics but also business goals.
• Work closely with global teams to implement new applications that enhance the user experience and track their long-term impact.
• Interact with our APAC partners (5-8 PM in Dallas, 8-11 AM Japan time) as part of this role's vibrant responsibilities
• Regular commuting to the central office 4 times a week is essential for team cohesion and collaborations as a brand new office

Core Competencies:

• Experience with Python and/or other programming languages.
• Experience with data analysis, feature exploration, and ETL.
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code (TerraForm)
• Solid experience from inception to business impact, good communication and teamwork skills in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of secure development practices

Nice to have:

• Cryptocurrency or financial industry experience.
• Experience with one or more of the following: personalized feeds, recommendation systems, advertising platforms, or other machine learning products.
• Experience with front-end machine learning implementations (e.g. front-end A/B testing, TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow.js).
• Good understanding of machine learning and deep learning, experience of building and maintaining production machine learning systems and/or pipelines.
• Ability to deploy and scale machine learning solutions using using popular frameworks or platforms (e.g. Kubeflow, AWS Sagemaker).
• Enjoy the 0-to-1 experience and an iterative development approach.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
