Cryptography Engineer Intern

Come work with a team of research scientists and renowned cryptographers on state-of-the-art cryptography. As a cryptography intern you will embody the following mindsets:

• “The ZKP engineer”, you create open source tools to impact the development of zero-knowledge proof systems
• Cryptography programmer, you write prototype code for cryptographic solutions and applications and solve related problems such as tackling the schemes’ pain-points and their related efficiency trade-offs
• Privacy researcher, you investigate the state-of-the-art of private set intersection, fully homomorphic encryption, multi-party computation, zero-knowledge proofs, and other primitives in order to find the most suitable solution to the given problem

The perfect match

• Your academic background comes from mathematics (linear algebra, groups, fields and polynomials) and/or computer science (complexity, algorithms, cryptography, programming languages)
• Even better, you have advanced knowledge of mathematics (elliptic curves, lattices, etc )
• You show interest in experimental technologies, may it be as a hobby or for school projects
• As a code writer, you have an algorithmic-oriented mentality to programming

• You have good communication skills and team spirit, able to tackle challenges when needed
• You work with dedication and ethic values and don’t shy away from responsibilities
• Without using Google, you know what Q.E.D. means, possibly even 2 different meanings
