As the Accounting Partnerships Channel Manager, you are responsible for closing and maintaining relationships with enterprise partners in the accounting industry, coaching the Channel Account Executives to close and maintain accounting relationships of their own.
The Accounting Channel acts as the primary point of contact for our partners; Channel AEs pursue new referrals, build relationships, and ensure a smooth experience for the partners referred clients.
The ideal candidate must have experience with business development and inside sales. They will need to be a self-starter and not be afraid to take self-driven initiatives. Experience in the accounting industry, either with accountants or a similar tech company, is an asset.
Compensation is base salary plus commission based off of team performance focused on new client acquisition and other key company KPIs.
Your role will include:
- Pursuing and nurturing enterprise relationships with Top 300 accounting firms to expand their use of the Veem platform
- Traveling to offices and conferences, in person pitches to groups of accountants
- Coaching and developing new Channel AEs to be consistent performers
- Reporting and forecasting quarterly attainment of targets
- Developing new strategies for hyper growth within the channel.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- 3-5 year success in a business development and/or partnerships role or equivalent sales and management experience
- Exceptional people skills
- Ability to think analytically about processes and pain points faced by modern accountants
- Experience with CRM tools (salesforce.com or other)
- Experience with accounting tools (Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite) strongly preferred
