Senior Software Engineer - Magmo

Description: Magmo is a 5 person team focusing on Ethereum state channels research and implementation. State channels are an Ethereum scaling technique. Over the past two and a half years, the team has released a protocol specification and client/application implementations. Responsibilities: we are looking for a person who is excited to work on developing a bleeding edge technology alongside a group of motivated engineers. On our small team, we value the following:

• Clear verbal and written communication for exchanging ideas and priorities.
• Clean code, but we also value practicality over perfection.
• Collaboration to solve tough engineering problems.
• Flexibility to pick up new tools and languages.
• Feedback from each other to help improve as individuals and as a team.

Skills and experience: No existing blockchain experience required. We would prefer to hire someone who has contributed to the success of complex software projects. That being said, extensive software experience is not a must as our team includes a former mathematician and a former physicist who are now excellent engineers. Strong analytical thinking is a must.

Current Magmo team members work from home across the world, but we have physical offices in New York, Dublin, London, Paris and Hong Kong..
