Product Manager, Web

In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the vision and drive the execution of Celo’s core web properties. You will be responsible for owning the product management process from planning, executing, to delivering experiences on digital properties. You will have the opportunity to shape and grow within the role.

You Will

• Own the full product cycle for web properties across various audiences (Consumer, Business, Developer) including celo.org, clabs.co, valoraapp.com and celoreserve.org: from research and ideation through to launch and ongoing performance analysis
• Be an internal expert on key stakeholder(s) of Celo including end users, builders, developers, and CELO owners
• Understand the customer journey for various audiences and turn user stories into product requirements
• Work closely with content, design and engineering teams to develop solutions that deliver delightful user experiences and that provide maximum value to the Celo community
• Own the product roadmap across digital properties and manage the product backlog Manage key stakeholder expectations, and work with consumer, business, engineering,and design to define OKRs, priorities, timelines, and milestones
• Align and motivate the cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class user experiences on time
• Build web properties that reflect the cultures and people that Celo hopes to transform

You Have

• User empathy, and passionate about Celo’s mission and financial inclusion
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team - we are looking for someone who is proactive and a problem solver in this role
• Experience taking features from a hypothesis to delivering value to real users, with being able to communicate this roadmap and vision across multiple stakeholder groups
• Analytical, demonstrated ability to work with data
• Localization experience
• Product management experience on technical open source projects
• Experience with GitHub or relevant platform
• NICE TO HAVE: A technical background, CS degree or relevant experience
• NICE TO HAVE: Familiarity and passion for crypto, open source and/or distributed computing
