Product Manager, Developer Experience

NEAR is looking for an experienced product manager to own our Developer Experience suite of products. DevX (Developer Experience) at NEAR encompasses all tooling and products required to build, test, deploy, and maintain an application on the NEAR blockchain platform. This includes our developer portal, documentation, JavaScript libraries, Rust libraries, APIs, and CLI-based tools.

Successful applicants for this role will have significant experience working with and managing developer tools, a strong engineering background, and an obsessive focus on the user (in this case, developers).

As a member of NEAR’s product team, you will shape the direction of our core platform and tooling. Many of our product managers are also team leads, and you will be expected to operate in a similar capacity. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement in our products, achieving buy-in from the team, and overseeing implementations.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a PM or engineer/founder with experience delivering technical products and owning strategic roadmaps in startup environments
• Clear product vision and proven ability to execute across all areas of product strategy, development, and project management
• Experience and interest in building developer-facing tools
• Strong communication skills, especially written

Nice-to-haves

• Open source contributions and previous or continued involvement in open source communities
• Familiarity with Ethereum development and related technologies (web3.js, ethers.js, etc)
• Familiarity with other crypto or blockchain technologies
• Experience working at a startup
