New Solutions Lead

The New Solutions Lead role is a meaningful one on the cLab's core team. Working with the Builder Circle, you will develop business solutions that fulfill Celo’s mission to create prosperity for all. As a member of the new solutions team, you should have a vision for the future and the irrepressible desire to realize it. Our ideal candidate has the ability to identify solutions to some of the world’s toughest problems, and bring key stakeholders along on the journey. Solutions Leads are a part of multi-disciplinary design teams, blending business strategy and creativity— helping our partners across the developing world bring new offerings and ventures to market. With frequent trips that take you across Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, you’ll be part design researcher, part strategist, and part operational guru, working alongside other builders and thinkers from different backgrounds.

You Will:

• Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative solutions on the Celo protocol
• Oversee in-country pilots that showcase the utility of Celo technology
• Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements
• Define and execute research plans that draws heavily on human centered-design and both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Represent Celo and cLabs with written reports, presentations, and with potential collaborators
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

You Have:

• Personal or professional experience in frontier markets
• Enthusiasm about working in a startup environment
• Excellent communication and organization

Nice To Have:

• Proficiency in foreign languages is a plus (Spanish, French)
• Experience working / running projects in emerging markets
