Crypto Trading Accountant

The trading team at Blockchain comprises traders, quants and engineers and designs and builds algorithmic trading strategies which trade crypto and fiat 24/7 from our position at the center of crypto. The team is growing rapidly and we are looking for a dedicated accountant to support the team as we build out more strategies and put more capital to work. This role will report to Finance but will sit on the (virtual) Trading Floor with the traders, quants and engineers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work closely with the trading team to structure accounting reporting for new trading strategies
• Reconcile trades on a daily basis across multiple trading strategies and products
• Prepare daily reports on liquidity and PNL on a per trading strategy and on a consolidated basis
• Prepare accounts for review by CFO and external parties

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Accounting qualification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment that functions 24/7
• Positive attitude and mature interpersonal skills
• Desire to build robust processes and procedures to support the growth of this business unit
• Strong attention to detail - you will be expected to present your work to senior management within Blockchain
• SQL knowledge will be an advantage
