Integrations Engineer

Uniswap is looking for an Integrations Engineer to join the Growth Team.

The Uniswap protocol is the market-leading blockchain exchange platform. Founded in late 2018, Uniswap recently facilitated more monthly volume than Coinbase and consistently supports over $1bn volume every day. We’re looking for a new team member to help us accelerate our growth over the coming years as DeFi transitions from a small community of users to a credible alternative to the legacy financial system.

Integrations and partnerships have been a huge part of Uniswap’s success. This is a technical role which will be dedicated to helping onboard new integration partners and generally supporting the business development team in securing new integrations.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that the engineering teams of our integration partners have every resource they need to successfully complete integrations in a timely manner. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a close-knit team environment. You will be working hand in hand with the business development team to onboard some of the largest financial institutions in the world into the defi ecosystem.

You will need a deep technical understanding of ethereum and solidity. You should have experience working with and writing smart contracts. You should also have a fairly “full-stack” skill set. We need you to be able to answer any questions our partners have, at any level of the stack. Ideal candidates for this role will also enjoy working with other teams and have an outgoing personality. You should be a good listener. You will be dealing with other developers; we want them to get to know you, to trust you, to come to you with questions, to keep in touch with you.

You’ll be joining the Growth Team. We focus on business development and partnerships, community, communications, developer relations and education.

Need to haves:
A degree in computer science or many years of experience as a self-taught engineer
At least 1 year experience working with smart contracts and solidity
Strong familiarity with DeFi
Strong people skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Quick response times
Self-starter mentality

Nice to haves:
Previous experience at a DeFi project
Fondness for the color pink

We are one of the smallest and most impactful teams in crypto. Only 11 people! Normally based out of Brooklyn in New York City but the pandemic forced us to go remote for the last year. We hope to come back to a physical office as soon as it's safe.
