Senior Developer Marketing Manager

In this role as our Senior Developer Marketing Manager, you’ll be playing a critical role in further developer adoption of Chainlink. You will build a developer-focused marketing program including first and third party hackathons, community programs, meetups, and other marketing campaigns/channels.

Your Impact

• Organize multiple Chainlink developer hackathons each year; coordinate cross functionally among developer relations, growth, design, content and other teams to create top rated developer events
• Manage all operations of the Chainlink hackathon including developer communications, judging, sponsors, prizes and more
• Manage Chainlink participation in 3rd party developer events including conferences, meetups, and hackathons
• Support the creation of an active and vibrant developer community
• Set up analytics tools to properly track the developer community growth by channel, demographic, etc.
• Use metrics and analytics effectively to grow and report on the developer community

Requirements

• Experience building community programs in Developer Relations, Technical Community Management or similar roles
• Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative start-up environment where change is constant
• Extraordinary interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, build rapport and relate to others in both written and verbal forms
• An analytical and data-driven approach to building and nurturing communities
• Understanding and appreciation of developers, how they work and how they think
• Experience facilitating sensitive and complex community situations with empathy, judgment, and tact
• A solid understanding of relevant blockchain technology and communities
• Event management experience

Desired/Optional Qualifications

• Former technical background (engineer, developer, etc.)

This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
