UI Frontend Engineer - Remote

We have team members working from across North America, Europe, and Asia. We leverage agile methodologies to move quickly and stay focused. Communication is important to us and we rely heavily on Slack, Zoom, and GitHub to help us stay in sync. All the technology we build is open source.This is a full-time remote position and you’re free to work from anywhere. Be advised that most team meetings occur between 8am and 12pm Pacific Time (UTC-8/-7). If you're applying from a location where these hours are outside your usual working hours, you’ll be expected to adapt to our meeting times.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with product and design teams to define application features and design ideas.
• Implement the user-interface of our web and mobile applications based on the high-fidelity mockups produced by our design team.
• Ensure our web applications and components are accessible, responsive, performant, and bug-free for recent versions of web browsers across all popular platforms.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A portfolio demonstrating 3+ years of web and mobile interface development experience.
• High level of proficiency in building web apps in JavaScript and TypeScript using Vue.js
• Excellent knowledge of CSS and experience in writing stylesheets in SASS, Stylus, etc.
• Experience in creating smooth and performant animations
• Working knowledge of client-side state management tools
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Competence with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, WebSockets
• Clear and concise written and oral English communication skills.
• Enthusiasm about building interactive visual experiences that harness the power of modern hardware.
• Flutter experience is a big plus.
