Community Manager

Flipside Crypto is seeking a community manager to develop our community of analysts. You’ll have ownership of communities for a set of our customers, ensuring engagement, administration of our bounty programs, and measurement. You’ll work closely with internal Flipside team members, while developing community moderators and technical liaisons.

You are already active within the cryptocurrency industry, understand Discord and other social communities, and likely understand the value of data and analytics related to blockchains.

Flipside enables blockchain communities to develop analytics on behalf of the protocols they support. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion for the mission.

Market opportunity: as blockchains mature, they will require always-on, always-current data to maintain community support and activity. Flipside’s model presents a guided path to desired insights, to become the defacto standard for analytics for the strongest blockchain communities.

Key Outcomes

• Develop our rapidly growing Discord community, with a specific focus on optimizing specific client channels (ie: Uniswap, Alchemix, Terra)
• Manage and grow a team of community “moderators” and technical liaisons to help execute the community strategy
• Deliver and optimize our bounty program to these specific channels, including sourcing bounty questions, setting bounty amounts, reviewing submissions and awarding bounties
• Set up metrics to measure success for community growth, and report on them regularly
• Create meaningful engagement within the community by coming up with innovative ideas
• Work with the community team to relay feedback from the community as a community advocate

Key Requirements

• 3+ years in online community building
• Experience working with online community platforms (tools, plugins, analytics etc.)
• A strong track record of ideating and executing strategy for online communities, specifically focused on community growth, engagement and retention.
• “Excel expert” in terms of organization
• A clear passion for engaging with people
• Familiarity & experience with crypto communities is desirable
• Data literacy is a huge plus!
