P2P Networking Specialist

Architect, design and implement P2P networking solutions for the Pocket Network software, specifically the blockchain client. As a P2P Networking Specialist you will be tasked with creating efficient, robust and fault tolerant peer-to-peer distributed networking solutions to improve the Pocket Network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement P2P networking systems that provide solutions to the networking challenges of the Pocket Network.
• Architect, design and implement debugging, monitoring and benchmarking tooling for Pocket Network P2P networking solutions.
• Assist and educate in the optimization of the Pocket Network networking topology and best practices.
• Collaborate with other Pocket Network specialists in the integration of Pocket Network P2P networking solutions.
• Maintain and update documentation and best practices for continuous improvement and development of the Pocket Network networking stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or Software Engineering, or comparable experience.
• Excellent english communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Project Management and leadership experience.
• Production level Golang expertise.
• Production-level Infrastructure Architecture, Deployment, Monitoring and Hardening knowledge and experience.
• Foundational knowledge of multi-platform development.
• Foundational business knowledge and experience.
• Source code version control experience.
