PR & Influencer Marketing Manager, Global - Remote

Tendermint is seeking an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented PR & Influencer Marketing manager, to bring our PR to the next level, build our corporate brand image, and establish long-term relationships with key thought leaders in the crypto industry. The PR & IM manager will work directly with our VP of Growth and play a vital role in the deployment of the overall marketing strategy.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, execute and track a global PR strategy. Monitor and analyze corresponding developments in the news
• Develop and refine messaging, write and edit press releases, media materials, and statements
• Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and thought leaders in the crypto space
• Manage relations with our global PR agency and align with internal marketing strategy and roadmap. Drive the PR agency to deliver impactful results
• Manage corporate announcements and Tendermint’s thought leadership initiatives. Proactively build the corporate identity of Tendermint through traditional and new media channels
• Prepare executives for media interactions and public appearances; provide counsel prior to opportunities and manage de-brief and follow-up
• Close collaboration with marketing and community teams to create synergy and generate maximum impact for PR initiatives.
• In the long term, the role will progressively include the management of local PR agencies, as we grow the international scope of our communication initiatives.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years’ experience in PR on a global level, including actual experience in the crypto space, with a proven track record of managing high-impact, global public relations programs that deliver measurable results
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, or similar
• An in-depth understanding of the crypto media market and an existing PR network (existing relationships with some crypto influencers is a plus)
• Top-notch communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Self-directed strategic thinker capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and making an impact quickly
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under multiple deadlines
