Community Manager

SkyGrid is a Boeing, SparkCognition company enabling the future of mobility. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid is delivering a platform capable of providing safe airspace operations, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) traffic management (UTM) solutions ⎯ a key step toward integrating a significant number of autonomous air vehicles into the global airspace.

As the first AI and blockchain-powered unmanned aerial operating system, SkyGrid is facilitate a wide variety of UAS-enabled services, including package delivery, industrial inspections, and emergency assistance.

The SkyGrid team is looking for a passionate, talented, and self-motivated Community Manager to join us in building the future of urban air mobility. The candidate will be a prominent member of our community team and will be active in our Telegram Community, as well as relevant groups and channels across all necessary platforms. Option to work fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Local community engagement across all channels
• Be active in key communities (ex. NFTs) across key verticals (ex. Metaverse, Gaming, Art)
• Strategic marketing campaign & branding build-up
• Liaise with community group leaders and Key Opinion Leaders
• Channel potential partnership opportunities to the right people
• Assist in marketing and events
• Provide regular updates and local insight reports
• Advise on and implement localized strategies
• Minimum Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of related experience
• Keen interest in key areas (ex. DeFi, NFT’s, NFT Art and gaming)
• Exposure in Web3 / blockchain community outlets in key locations (ex. Europe, US, etc)
• Prior experience in building, growing and managing communities
• Active in the Crypto communities on Twitter, Discord, Reddit, (only include those relevant to you)
• Comfortable using decentralized Crypto software such as Metamask, DEXs Liquidity Pools etc.) (any relevant to you)
• Be process driven, detail orientated but also pragmatic and service focused
• Competent working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
• Punctuality, reliability, communication, stakeholder management

Must have skills and attributes
