You will be responsible for developing new data offerings, developing and supporting solutions for product analytics, and capturing feedback from our logging and debugging services to both troubleshoot and make improvements.

An effective Blockchain Data Engineer should be able to effectively communicate with Product & Engineering team while developing blockchain nodes that interact with ETL pipelines that support our data and analytics product efforts. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.

YOU WILL

  • Be responsible for building a blockchain based data offering that supports our Research and Data Dashboard products
  • Collaborate with our engineers, researchers, executives, and designers to develop new data capabilities
  • Clearly communicate development progress across the Product & Engineering team
  • Be creative in solving engineering problems
  • Work with team managers on development prioritization and career development opportunities
  • Contribute to the culture of quality, healthy collaboration and leading by example

MUST HAVES

  • Expertise managing blockchain infrastructure nodes and interacting with public blockchains to help users analyze data relevant to a specific business problems
  • Knowledge of Database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to structure efficient queries
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience working with Data APIs to enable data scientists and analysts to query important data
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures to support data filtering and data optimization

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience with digital assets, crypto, and blockchain technologies
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala
  • Knowledge about source control software such as git
  • Familiarity with Unix / Linux operating systems and general command-line knowledge
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and distributed systems
  • Experience in Business Intelligence products such as Google Data Studio, Domo, or Tableau
  • Experience using development environments such as Docker, Vagrant, Virtual Box or similar platform
