Senior Frontend Engineer

Slingshot is looking to expand our team with an S-tier frontend engineer to drive the development of our decentralized trading platform's web app

Slingshot Finance is a decentralized trading platform that aggregates liquidity on decentralized networks like Ethereum in order to offer better prices on thousands of crypto-assets. Slingshot is built on decentralized rails, empowering our users with unrestricted access to financial markets and full control over their funds.

We have just released our closed-beta and are looking to expand our team with an S-tier frontend engineer to drive the development of our web application.

This role will involve:

• Working directly with the product team to create an engaging, web-based trading platform
• Developing performant interfaces rich with real-time data
• Embracing web3 patterns (auth, signing, transactions, etc)
• Navigating a rapidly evolving environment

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering and building user-facing web apps

• Up to speed on modern frontend architecture

• Deep understanding of React and Typescript

Nice to have

• Web3 experience (ethers.js, web3.js)

• Mobile (SwiftUI, Android)
  

• Data visualization (WebGL or SVG)
  

• Good design fundamentals
