Project Manager

Flipside is seeking a project manager to primarily support our Data Analytics and Data Science teams. You will help prioritize tasks, coordinate resources, document requirements, and track & report progress. This role plays a critical part in our operation and will help to accelerate the growth of our community-enabled analytics offering. The Project Manager will support additional cross-functional projects including customer deliverables, experiments with our community members, and other strategic initiatives.

Flipside enables blockchain communities to develop analytics on behalf of the protocols they support. The ideal candidate has passion for the blockchain/crypto market.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources from Data Science, Data Analytics and Engineering for high quality execution of projects
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
• Articulate requirements in documentation and tickets
• Assign project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Help teams estimate projects and tasks accurately, and measure and track project performance
• Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading the team to develop risk and issues management plans
• Ability to balance both the "science" of project management and the "art" of being human - be a great teammate
• Be a collaborative team builder, exercising strong leadership skills
• Report and escalate to leadership as needed

Requirements

• Practical experience working with data analytics or data science teams
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders
• Fluency with project management methodology, tools and templates
• Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
• Skills to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Crypto or blockchain experience is a big bonus - but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
