Integration Engineer

As an integration engineer in ecosystem collaborations, you’ll have an outsized impact on the entire organization and Web3 ecosystems by building bridges between Filecoin and other Web3 ecosystems, creating sample applications that demonstrate the synergy of Filecoin with other protocols, and defining standards for the next frontier of Web3. In this role, you will work closely with Protocol Labs’ Ecosystem Working Group to drive impact, value, and adoption for projects.

The Ecosystem Collaborations team is responsible for exponentially growing the Filecoin/IPFS ecosystem by identifying major opportunities, building high-impact reference implementations, and ushering in waves of developers and entrepreneurs into Web3. This is a combination of strategic vision, business acumen, rapid prototyping to deliver results. As an early member on the Ecosystem Collaborations team, you will provide our organization with the creativity, versatility, and execution it needs to reach its goals.

As an Integration Engineer at Protocol Labs, you will...

• Identify, prioritize, and strategize high-impact business opportunities for the Filecoin/IPFS ecosystem.
• Build bridges, prototypes, and reference applications with mission-aligned partners to exponentially grow the Web3 communities.
• Evangelize, inspire, and empower teams to build successful businesses at the frontiers of Web3.

You may be a fit for this role if you...

• Prior Web3 engineering experience (layer 1 protocols and infrastructure, smart contract applications, IPFS applications).
• Good intuition with Web3 ecosystems and how the industry is evolving.
• A rigorous, process-driven work style backed by an ability to communicate effectively
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus points if...

• Experience running your own startup or high growth teams.
• Experience building ecosystem collaborations in open source software communities.
• Experience speaking at conferences, developer summits, or virtual events.
