Junior Legal Counsel (f/m/d)

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will be a part of the Bitpanda Legal team, focusing on diverse legal cases arising within the Bitpanda Group. You will be responsible for operational legal tasks and will provide legal support across various projects, as well as for the growing international business.

What you’ll do

• Advise, accompany and support the operational areas of Bitpanda and other team members
• Legal support in all relevant fields of law and involvement in various national and international projects
• Draft and revise all types of legal documents like contracts, general terms and conditions, internal and external policies, etc.
• Evaluate the company’s legal status and maintain a high level of compliance
• Develop, implement and monitor legal processes

Who you are

• A university degree in Law at an Austrian university with a strong focus on civil law and corporate law, as well as other legal areas such as supervisory law and/or labour law and/or IT/IP law
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience in an international law firm or experience as in-house legal counsel in an international company
• Good understanding of online platform business and digitalisation, as well as a strong interest in and common understanding of crypto-assets and financial products
• Team player, quick comprehension, solution-oriented and precise way of working and the ability to work reliably both independently as well as in a team
• Fluency in German and English is required
