Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all operations within the company's human resources function
  • Manage HR policies and procedures, employee benefits programs, oversee onboarding, provide support to staff, and ensure compliance with internal policies as well as related laws, regulations and official guidance
  • Translate business priorities into property Human Resources strategies, plans and actions
  • Work with the management team to promptly and thoroughly investigate escalated HR issues and complaints and escalates complex or high-risk situations as needed
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations
  • Utilize sound communication and interpersonal skills to ensure equity, understanding and compliance
  • Support the performance management, workforce planning and succession planning processes.
  • Advise and maintain thorough documentation on all HR matters

Preferred* Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience working in Human Resources, +5 in a leadership capacity (ESSENTIAL within the USA)
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred
  • Experience building an HR department from ground up - Crypto/blockchain understanding is a HUGE PLUS
  • Ability to navigate start up culture and take ownership of the people success journey (strategy & operational)
  • Previous stand alone experience preferred coupled with a growth mindset
  • Previous experience at a fully remote company
  • Experience within the SaaS/web 3.0 / Crypto/Blockchain/Ethereum ecosystems
