You will be responsible for supporting the technical operations of the Product & Engineering department. Some of the responsibilities include troubleshooting & identifying technical issues, identifying customer needs to better inform improvements, and driving efforts that allow teammates to operate more efficiently.

An effective Technical Operations Specialist should be able to effectively communicate with Product & Engineering team while helping The Block users find solutions to their issues. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner so we can provide excellent customer service.

YOU WILL

  • Be responsible for onboarding new accounts for employee systems
  • Support the administration of The Block systems
  • Collaborate with our engineers, researchers, executives, and designers to improve company operations
  • Clearly communicate new and/or escalating issues across the Product & Engineering team
  • Contribute to the culture of quality, healthy collaboration and leading by example
  • Confirm issues by replicating possible bugs and ruling out any workarounds

MUST HAVES

  • Ability to work with clients to resolve any support requests through email or zoom
  • Expertise working with developers, system administrators, and devOps engineers
  • Ability to manage new user accounts and onboarding within Google Suite, Auth0, Slack, and WordPress
  • Knowledge of engineering support process and how to file bugs and enhancements

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Desire to work in the digital asset industry
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices when working in text, voice, and video
  • Empathy for users and employees seeking technical assistance
  • Creativity and tenacity in problem solving
