Business Owner

This role will help the team understand the common objectives of the DAO in order to achieve milestones.

The role will act as the leader for the TechOps Core unit, setting up all aspects of the team from processes, structure and the wider business model. You will be the primary POC for the planning, execution and accountability of all of the TechOps core unit, whilst building relationships with the Maker Community and Governance bodies across the DAO.

About you

• Help set-up the TechOps Core Unit, from processes, structure and business model.
• Set-up the environment and framework for the TechOps Core Unit to function efficiently
• Focusing on buil Key stakeholders and maintain relationships across the DAO
• Play a lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling of the TechOps Core Unit.
• Accountability for the scope of the work, project team, resources, budget, and the success or failure of the team.
• Design Service Level Agreements between the TechOps Core Unit and other core units from the DAO
• Work with the Maker Community and Governance body to position the TechOps as the the go to team for supporting mission critical services & systems

Job requirements

What you will need

• Proven experience acting as a business partner with ideally a background of running a business
• Knowledge within IT infrastructure and networking, with exposure to testing and release procedures
• Experience with system design, platform management and capacity planning
• Ability to assure sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
• Ability to balance between feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives
• Experience in technical project management and backlog management

Nice to haves

• Understanding of DAOs, Open Source methodologies, RFPs
• Prior experience with Web3 projects and DeFi
